Editors and Staff
All editors and staff will join together in this lab group developing their yearbook plans. The ladder diagram will be developed as well as theme and its correlation to the entire publication.
Basic plans for the 2010 yearbook will be developed.

Photography
Created for students who wish to learn basic camera techniques including quality photo-taking, composition, and organizing pictures as they come back from the photographer. Students will have yearbook-related photo assignments that will be evaluated by the seminar instructor. Photography students will also attend all general sessions to get an overall picture of how a yearbook comes together.

InDesign Beginning
InDesign Beginning is for students who will be using InDesign for the first time, or have limited experience with the program. Students will learn how to create pages and prepare them for submission to Taylor along with importing graphics, digital photos, and creating exciting new page designs. These students will not be able to participate in other classes except during breakout sessions.

InDesign Advanced
The InDesign Advanced class will assume that the student has significant knowledge of InDesign and at least a full year's experience producing the yearbook using InDesign.

Beginning Advisers
Everything you need to know about yearbooks is taught in this four-day crash course. Learn how to use supplies, handle deadlines, budgets, and marketing strategies. Instruction will include how to design your yearbook and the steps for putting it together. The class will combine lecture with Q & A sessions and hands-on activities.

Experienced Advisers
A breakout room will be open all day Monday and Tuesday with an experienced adviser leading a different discussion each hour. Experienced advisers may choose to attend any or all of the topic discussions in this relaxed-atmosphere class. Beverages and snacks will be provided. Advisers are welcome to sit in on students' classes as well

StudioWorks Sessions
StudioWorks Sessions will be available during breakout sessions. Limit two students per school. Register for this breakout during seminar registration on June 24.
